Property Redress Scheme
The Property Redress Scheme is a straightforward and easy to use consumer redress (ombudsman) scheme for Property Agents and Professionals. The main purposes of the Property Redress Scheme are to allow Agents to comply with their legal requirement to be a member of a government authorised consumer redress scheme and to settle or resolve complaints made by consumers against their Members.
Client Money Protection
Edward Carter Properties has Client Money Protection (CMP) as part of our membership to UKALA, which protects our clients against the loss or misuse of client money such as rent and deposits held by letting agents. If client money has been lost or misappropriated by an agent, CMP means that you will be able to claim the entire amount back.
My Deposits
A trusted partner to multiple landlords and letting agents across the UK. My Deposits was established in 2007 and now protects more than one million tenancy deposits. They offer a simplified solution to tenancy deposit protection by providing a choice of custodial or insurance-based protection.
